70 Years of Kentuck Knob

✨️Today celebrates 70 years of Kentuck Knob✨️⁠

On this day in 1956, Bernardine & I.N. Hagan moved into their Frank Lloyd Wright designed grand Usonian house, their move in day was also their 29th wedding anniversary. They lived at Kentuck Knob year-round for almost 30 years. I.N. managed the operations of his family's ice cream company in Uniontown. Bernardine was teacher a novice painter. ⁠

Lord Peter Palumbo purchased Kentuck Knob and its surrounding property in  1985. Peter and his family used it as a private vacation house for a decade. They enjoyed serene environment of the Laurel Highlands of Southwestern Pennsylvania. ⁠

Kentuck Knob has welcomed visitors around the world since 1996, we look forward to many more years of Kentuck Knob!
