✨️Today celebrates 70 years of Kentuck Knob✨️
On this day in 1956, Bernardine & I.N. Hagan moved into their Frank Lloyd Wright designed grand Usonian house, their move in day was also their 29th wedding anniversary. They lived at Kentuck Knob year-round for almost 30 years. I.N. managed the operations of his family's ice cream company in Uniontown. Bernardine was teacher a novice painter.
Lord Peter Palumbo purchased Kentuck Knob and its surrounding property in 1985. Peter and his family used it as a private vacation house for a decade. They enjoyed serene environment of the Laurel Highlands of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Kentuck Knob has welcomed visitors around the world since 1996, we look forward to many more years of Kentuck Knob!
