Frank Lloyd Wright's creative ability extended beyond architecture to graphic design, furniture, art glass, textiles, and decorative elements for the home. Wright designed a house for a European automobile importer, Max Hoffman. The designs' floating and intersecting circles with square accents made up the carpet design at the Hoffman house.
